If you are looking for a childcare place, you have many questions. Here we answer the most common ones: short, easy to understand and with sources wherever official rules are concerned.
The guides are written by us, Kindertagespflege Windelflitzer in Berlin-Schöneberg. In them we explain what we also explain in conversations with parents: without technical jargon and with references to the official sources. Rules and deadlines can change; the information from your youth welfare office is always what counts.
Agreement and contract: We conclude the agreement on the basis of your voucher. For this we mainly need the voucher number. We send the agreement to the youth welfare office, which then sends you the contract.
Settling-in: After that, care begins on the planned start date. Four weeks are planned for the Settling-in period are planned; if your child needs longer, we take the time they need.
If your child comes from another setting, you cancel there first. A notice period of four weeks to the end of the month is usual. With us, getting to know each other over a few days is then usually enough.
For in between we have small games for children: in the Play corner you will find shapes, puzzles, memory and more to tap and drag.
